Guided kayak tours Mo I Rana

We set off from Moholmen Marina with a view towards Hemnesberget and the elongated path of Ranfjorden leading to the open sea. The journey heads northward, combining old and new industrial history as we pass by the abandoned industrial giant, the coke plant, Toraneskaia, and the modern Mo i Rana Harbor. We make a pit stop at the beautiful city beach, Mjølanstranda. Here, we stretch our legs, share a few tales, and prepare for the return journey. For those interested, there’s an opportunity to change out of paddling gear and test the water temperature.

On the way back, we pass the marina and continue past Mo i Rana’s well-preserved old town on Moholmen. With our eyes fixed on the ski jump in Fageråsen, we paddle right up to the stone sculpture of Havmannen, examining it closely before turning our noses homeward. It’s a peaceful natural experience with a touch of historical enrichment, just a few meters away from the city center!
