THE FACILITY

In 2021, the meeting room was completely renovated. It now fully meets the needs of discerning companies and organisations. Equipment includes a TV with video camera and microphone connected through the Wifi. Here you have everything you need for strategy discussions, brainstorming sessions, board meetings, negotiations and presentations.

Our conference room is located on the quiet top floor above our café. In one corner of the meeting room are cosy couches and a TV. The room is well-lit and enjoys a view of the “High & Low” climbing park and the forest.

The meeting room comfortably accommodates 16 people.

ACTIVITIES

A TAILORED ACTIVITIES PROGRAMME

Krokstrand can offer tailor-made activities programmes for groups throughout the year. Between May and October, our most popular activity is the “High & Low” climbing park. But during these months we also offer other activities, such as a mini golf tournament.

In the winter, our activity proposals are adapted to the season and the weather conditions.

The activities we offer are always designed to meet your wishes and match the rest of your programme. Our activities can be anything from something you enjoy in a break during your conference, to an all-day adventure in the great outdoors.

ACCOMMODATION

HOTEL ROOM IN THE MAIN BUILDING

In 2021, the rooms on the floor above our café were renovated and upgraded to hotel standard. We offer five rooms with private bathrooms. Two smaller rooms have just a washbasin. Shared showers and toilets are in the hallway.

OVERNATTING

KAIAHUSET

Kaiahuset is a house that was built for Kaia and Abaron when they retired in the early 1970s. The couple had run the café and accommodation at Krokstrand since 1939.

The house, which is beautifully situated on the river bank, was renovated in 2020. Today it is a cosy, fully-equipped holiday home with a private garden.
